Chasing Hope

Chasing Hope is the first book in my trilogy and below is the prelog :3 To give you a taste of what will happen. Ill add Chapters as they go along.

  Is there anyone going to listen to my story all about life away from your true friends and family?

  "Sammi!" Brandon yells. "Come out of that closet and say goodbye to Meg before she leaves to go back to The United States!"
"No!!!! I would rather die than watch my sister leave!" She said sobbing.
"Sammi my work visa has run out... And the British Government won’t let me get a renewal for six months!" I said "Sammi I will be back though. You know me. I would never desert you!" Sammi came out and stood in front of me, I tried to calm her down but the pain that showed in her eye's was to intense.
 
  Without uttering another word I left the house that has truly become my home and got in the taxi that was waiting for me. "To the airport!" I muttered to myself with a sad sigh... This would be my last time here for six months maybe longer... I guess I knew this would happen sooner or later but I just hoped it would be later. The driver pulled up the airport and pulled my luggage out of the trunk while I fumble to get the money to pay the fare. This is really happening I thought to myself... I can't believe that with one letter my life will change so drastically...

  From the moment I stepped out of that taxi... Life seems to be a blurry daze. Nothing seems right. Sitting on that plane for 12 hours gave me a lot of time to think. I have to try everything to get back home... Even if it means in a coffin. I pulled my laptop from my carry on bag and began to write...: This is my book. My Journal. My Life. It's not the traditional life. As the great saying goes don't judge a book by its cover. I tell you. Don't Judge mine until you have read the whole story. Not just bits and pieces!

Also, limit the number of exclamation marks you have in a sentence. In stories, one is fine to express yelling. You can say "No! I would rather die than watch my sister leave!" She yelled at the top of her lungs, swallowing tears.

Not necessarily, if all i wanted to say was one word then i can say it. I'm not on here for 'post boosting" or "post hogging". I really could care less about that.

Uhm, yeah i'm sure my "Cool" really affected her writing.
