PostSubject: End [LIFE]   End [LIFE] EmptyThu Oct 20, 2011 8:03 pm

A small man walked up to a house. The house was tipped to one side, like it had been rotated on a game. The man thumbled in his jacket pocket, his weedy hand shaking with fear. A bead of sweat dropped from his heavily scared brow, it dropped on the floor with more of an impact it should have had on the old, decrepit man. His eyes exploded with life, as if he was in shock. He gulped as his keys jangled within his other pocket. he sighed with relief. To his surprise he also found a cigarette. Which he lit up using the faint charcoal off the brick and smoked it. The man removed his own keys and opened the door, revealing a magnificent blue oval which spirals throughout the entire living room. The portal's interior seemed to be hypnotizing the man- which is when he fell forward. He was going to speed of light, and was able to fly around the portal. His shock was immense that his cigarette fell from his mouth and ended up on the streets of Chicago. A couple of seconds later, he finally made sense of the world, and hit the ground very hard. A hare jumped over him. He lay for about 15 minutes, dazed by what has happened, until a turtle crawled over him. Then he got some sense into him, and began to walk towards the turtle. This fake reality was only pleasing the man, as he lay, mouth wide open, his hands and feet out stretched, on that cold, wooden floor. The man's hat had rolled about 7 feet away, and left a trail in the dust. The man's face seemed happy, yet to awake to such a mess would break his heart. His house, like him, long and forgotten, this sweet, yet fake reality, was created by such no man dreamed. A hare and a tortoise. A hare, about 3 foot tall, climbed up a steep hill, carefully treading past the cracks and rocks to reach the top. Where, a small tortoise, was staring far out into an abyss. The hare stood behind him, looked the same way, and said "Greetings, my fine young friend!" The crippled man only laughed, thinking that he somehow went mad from this. "Young? Young! Bahaha! Look at me, you see these wrinkles!?" he yelled, crazy off his head. "These are wrinkles of the old!"
The tortoise just stared at him, and then looked to the hare. "You are quite young", the hare said, trying to be extremely careful of the man's unbelievably insanity. "Anyways.. [pause] Welcome to the world of Krai, everything here is of imagination." Still to their surprise, the old man, who had died from hunger, 3 months ago, was standing side by side them, without any explanation whatsoever. The hare puzzled over this and concluded that the man was imagined by someone in Krai. The tortoise bared a small smile to the distant sound of the wind. He felt the cool breeze on his neck. You might even go as far to say, he escaped his own reality. The old man giggled and said, "Hey, do you think i can fly? Because, because... because... I... CAN FLY!" The hare simply pointed to the abyss, grinning he pouted, "Put that to the test why don't you?". The man, without hesitation threw himself over the edge. He dropped like a stone, his hat, which was caught by wind, slowly drifted back to the tortoise' feet, he then looked down and his smile became a frown, dropping him on his head, back to the reality he calls real. The hare then said

Ah yes, indeed you can fly. It is not rare in this world. Flying is one thing. Dying, though, is another. How did you die, sir?"
The
used-to-be old and crippled man stared up at the hare, not registering
the final five words. "I'm alive! I didn't die in this abyss sir, I'm
right here!"
The hare merely shook his head. "No, no. I did not mean
how you died in the world of Krai. I mean, how did you die on Earth? Or
Blamer? Are you from Lotus?"

The old man stared at the hare- utterly confused. "Blamer? Lotus?"
The
Tortoise this time, replied. "You see, sir. It isn't only Earth. It is
Lotus and Blamer. Blamer is swarmed with these flying mechanical boxes.
Earth is swarmed with cars. Lotus is filled with massive birds which
fly across the amazing terrain. Come back up, will you?"

The
Tortoise was found to be staring at the old man which was now
levitating upwards. The Tortoise shifted his vision to the left, where
the old man thumped directly onto his hat.

The tortoise merely did not care for the man. He simply scanned him for any useful information he could find. His eyes squinted, he also made a small humming noise, as if he was in deep thought. He then came to a conclusion that the man, who came from earth, merely had become reality. Simply because the hare had accidently rotated the old man's home. By pure coincidence, the Hares mistake had led to a small connection between the man's reality and theirs. Thus, when he died, and now at this very moment, has reappeared right before them. However, this impossible act, by this worthless old man, did not even faze the tortoise. The old man then faded by the powers that be. The hare glanced at the tortoise and simply said, "Its time"

The old man blinked. He was scared, confused, and felt a bit nauseous. "For God's sake! What is it time for?"
The hare, looked at the man. The man was frightened by this small action- noticing a fire light up beneath the hare's pupil. An eagle, wearing a saddle of gold and claws of steel, swept down across the grass. As the claws of the massive bird touched the ground, a landing was formed. The eagle was, as to say, skidding to a halt. Sparks flew from around, burning the grass ever so slightly. The Hare leapt onto the eagle before it had even time to land to a complete stop, and the tortoise shuffled with great speed onto the eagle's head. There, the turtle fell asleep. The old man was looking around, cross-eyed, until he took his hat and tried to sit behind the golden saddle. The eagle, with this small instant, flew up into the air and jetted away.

Clouds, forming in all shapes. Stars, small balls of gas in front of everywhere you looked above. The eagle, sooner, landed down in front of an immense castle. Two knights in front rolled out a sign. The sign said "Welcome to Fable".

This must be their kingdom. Are they doing something to me here? Oh dear lord, the man thought.
They half walked, half hopped, half shuffled through the corridors packed with tigers and squirrels. A corridor, the left staircase, two floors up, second corridor. They reached the throne room.

A rabbit, hopping around with a yellow nose and a yellow bowtie greeted them. A mouse sat upon the throne. A real life woman was trying to slice a frozen apple, which contained some jewelry inside.
The mouse then laughed.

"Don't we have enough humans? They all go down to hell anyways. Up here, we have heaven. A free country. Yet they are stupid enough to think that everything 'The Daily Devil' writes is true", the mouse squeeked. "Oh! Hell has freedom! Everywhere!"
"What do you goddamn know? They go down here, the doors seal, and they're trapped in there forever. Welcome to Heaven. We like to call our world Krai."

The Rabbit hopped up to the man now.

"Quite a fascinating day. There are two cities in all of Krai. The rest is wilderness. The first city is named Heaven. The second is Hell. Thank you."

Finally, after a bit of silence, the hare turned to the tortoise and said..

"Now is the time"

The mouse on the bright, flaring red throne, stood up with his pride hanging heavy on his shoulders, wearing a small, bright pink crown with his large ears sticking out between the jewels. He wore a long white cape, which almost touched the floor. His feet were extremely small, and one could only wonder how he stood up so proud. His brow, fixed upon the man, who was very frightened, who kept reacting to everything that went on around him. His eyes switched, and his thumbs began touching each other like magnets. His feet danced to his own pounding heart, he is also constantly gulping, which quite frankly, sounds louder than the mouse. As everyone is focusing on this, insane man, the mouse becomes frustrated and suddenely, his voice BOOMS OUT "I AM THE ALMIGHTY KING OF KRAI, I AM, HERU! NOW YOU ALL LISTEN TO ME, ILL SAY THIS ONCE, ONCE ONLY, THIS MAN HERE IS ALLOWED TO STAY, ON ONE CONDITION. HE MUST PASS THE ALMIGHTY TEST OF KRAI!" Everyone gasped at the sheer thought of that wicked test, that no one dared to try.

Two bulldogs walked into the throne room and took the man by the shoulders.
"Hey, wait! This isn't heaven! This is a fake! God wouldn't do this!", the man yelled out struggling.
"No no, you've been mistaken. I am God. The reason that cat's are bad luck are because I am God. The reason that dogs are a man's best friend and not a woman's is because I am God. The reason why the sky is up, not down, is because I AM GOD!", the mouse screamed out the final last words- the echo booming around the throne room.

The rabbit was scared and pulled his trumpet over his head.

After a while, the man was escorted into a field surrounded by huge stone walls.
Then, the man was left alone. A plague lay on the ground saying:

Whomever enters the Atok arena, be prepared for what lies ahead. Step into the forest, following the path. Stepping off the path and wandering into the wilderness will be extremely risky and dangerous. There are other humans inside the territory, beware as though they may attack you. Snakes and lions are cramped everywhere. There are weapons to your left and to your right. A bow will be the most common thing. Humans are not allowed to exit the arena until they've killed 5 or more other Humans. Until then, you are staying here. Food can only be found in the wilderness. There is one lake in the centre of the arena. Have fun exploring your 55 square mile radius. Best of Luck.

The man, who was more afraid then ever, did the only thing he could do. He ran to a shelf and grabbed a...

while running to the shelf of weapons, he stopped, dead in his tracks. This was an extreme shock to the man, it was like he was caught in a net of some sorts, he came to the conclusion that the weapons was merely a distraction or a trap for him to fall into, having known this, the man quickly struggled, trying to get out of the net, however, the harder he tried, the more entangled he became. It was like quicksand. The man found him self being squeezed, like his life was just about to end, he then saw a small button, so without hesitation, he pressed it. He suddenly felt the warm feeling of freedom, as his feet touched the soft, earthly ground, he let out a huge shot, "YES! IM FREEEEEE!" The man was still shrouded in fear though. As this was just one trap, there could be a lot more in that dark, ghostly forest. The man noticed some sand on the floor, just to his right, by one the huge, old stone walls surrounding him. If he crouched down, you could hear his knees and back cracking, like a twig, he soothed his back and began drawing some sort of picture in the sand with his index finger. He worked hard and fast, almost like he was planning. He was judging the area, constantly looking around, swirling his finger back and fourth. He stepped back to admire his work and set off. He ran with some sort of confidence. His footwork was like fire, leaving his imprint on the field below him. His feet became black with mud and dust, and his torn trousers was becoming brown. He suddenly stopped by a large stone, hands on his waist, looking around it and inspecting it with his eyes. he placed his grisly hand on the large stone, feeling around it like a pebble on a beach. it was smooth and extremely hard. The texture felt like silk. He thought to himself, why would such a large rounded stone be in this field? What is its purpose!? Is it some kind of trap like before? Or is it something magical? With a gasp and deep thought, he suddenly realised what it was. He noticed small stains of blood on the bottom the stone, it was an execution ground. He even placed his head upon the stone and pretended to have his head chopped, laughing and excited he skipped away, without noticing the small group of flies behind him. The flies were like cameras, following him around.

Meanwhile, back at the huge castle, the Hare was sitting in some kind of magical alter, and small pond of water was floating above his head, you could see a small faint picture of a man running around insanely. His left hand was on some sort of stone joystick, vines were encircling it and one even climbed up and was kissing his hand. In his right hand was 5 buttons. 4 of those buttons was some sort of indescribable text, but you could clearly tell what the 5th button was. It said "KILL" in big bold letters. The hare simply grinned at the small, faint man's image within the waters surface. The tortoise was also glaring at the screen, with a frown. "This is fun, right? Tortoise!" said the Hare, the tortoise simply replied with a grunt and closed his eyes.

1 hour later the man came to the edge of the forest. It was dark and entangled with some sort of dark brown vines. The grass line simply stopped, as if it was cut with scissors. Where the forest started, so did the yellow soil. It was very unusual, as the man could not simply get over the fact it was a bright yellow. He caught some in his hand, and let it slide back, judging its particles, trying to find the source of its bright colour. He got back up from his squat and took one step onto the sand. A huge surge of energy rushed into him, right from his toes to the back ends of his scruffy hair. It was like a lightning bolt. The man was froze, with fear and excitement. He carefully placed his other foot onto the bright soil, and felt another surge of energy. He quickly realised that this soil, gave life or some sort of adrenalin. He began to run, feeling the life giving powers of every step! He Rejoiced with a cry which made some birds scatter among the trees. He ran with such speed that he bumped into a large tree. He soothed his bump on his head and looked up at the

... a man, falling from the tree. Directly towards the man's head. The old man had to roll over, and the other man who was wielding a crossbow, had fallen.

"Blimey! Are you Alr--", the old man suddenly stopped.

The crossbow man got up and placed an arrow into his quiver, pulling it back and aiming at the man's head.

"I only want to get out of here alive, old man. I know you understand"

The crossbow's string was release, an arrow spinning towards the old man's head. The old man had time to leap into the air, the gravity pulling him upwards and then downwards. The arrow struck the stone, which was a bit far, and ricochetted back in the direction the men were standing in. The crossbow man gasped, and then the arrow punctured through his skin. An explosion of blood could be seen from the other side of his body, like the arrow intersected within his heart. The arrow flew from the other side and landed within the moist ground, where blood was already seeping into the mud.

The old man was fearful. He was, to say, out of his mind. The old man did the only thing he COULD do.

He grabbed the crossbow, the quiver of two arrows on the dead man's back, and ran.

Running, not taking notice of his surroundings. The trees flying past him were merely blurred, smudged in his speed. It felt as if he was traveling the speed of light. That is, of course, when he tripped on a very hard object.

The man flew about two feet, landing on the ground in pain. The hard object was yellow, and it was moving. The man had not been able to look at the huge object. If he did look, it would've been a snake. An annaconda.

"Crap", he would've thought.

The long out-stretched golden snake was sizing up the man. Thinking of the most logical point to strike. The man still face flat on the ground and could not get up. The snake found its target and launched for an attack. SUDDENLY a small laser was fired, straight at the snake, it was dead in an instant. The man didnt even realise this and carried on running.

Meanwhile, back at the castle, you could see the tortoise's small hand upon the KILL button and his jaws around the joystick. He simply sighed and said "this man is more entertaining ALIVE". The hare quickly nodded in fear of this small tortoise.

Back to the man, where he has found a small cave, not far in front of the swarm of flies there he was, just above a small ledge in the cave. All you could see was darkness. The only part you could see was a slight image of a bony hand and black feet. You could also hear a small pin drop of water, not to far from the man's ear. Every step was life threatening. Not knowing where to put his feet, the man simply turned out of the cave, not noticing a large golden temple 6 foot away from him. The old man had found lost heaven. But because of darkness the old man simply did not notice. It was getting dark and he needed to find somewhere to sleep. So he climbed the nearest and tallest tree and lay there for a while. He could hear noises all around him, like frogs and the buzzing of the small fragmented wings on a fly. The man could only sleep for about 3 hours. This was good enough because of the danger he was in. He dragged himself down the tree and onto the life giving golden soil. He felt the surge of energy right away and began to run with such fierce velocity. He noticed a small clearing and ran towards it. The trees opened out into a very large area, all he could see was

a blur shaping in front of him. The blur became closer and began to resize and he abruptly stopped, staring directly into a beautiful rose, waving around in front of him. The rose was spinning side to side, it's bud tipping up and down. The man said," Excuse me, Rose? Are you able to talk like all the other creatures in this world?".
The rose stopped moving up and down, and then turned it's bud directly towards the man. Two small beads of water for the roses eyes. A petal off the rose for the mouth.
The rose just said one thing, " Not everything in this world is truly able to talk. Take a small blade of grass you have killed" which then the rose pointed her leaf at a blade of grass, squashed beneath the man's feet. " The poor thing could not have yelled help. It could not have though of what awaits it. The last breath of carbon dioxide it ever took, wasted into the atmosphere"

The man looked wide eyed at the rose, shocked at it being able to speak. The man cleared his throat and looked around.
"I'm one hundred per-cent sure that roses do not have brains", the man spoke.
The rose just opened it's mouth to laugh, but a faint wheeze stood in it's place. "You are mistaken. A living thing cannot be one hundred per-cent sure of anything. On Earth, for example, you may say that a plant only grows and does not think. It may have been proven scientifically. Scientific people probably say that it is one hundred per-cent that a plant cannot talk nor think. But living things, it is impossible for them to say one hundred per-cent. There is always a small margin of error. The God of this world, though, cannot have a margin of error for he is the absolute ruler. Only us plants know this, but you seem loyal. God is grass."

The man looked at the rose, tilted it's head and said, "Grass? "

"Yes, Grass. Grass is everywhere." the rose replied, nodding. " He lives under you, around you. In the very debts of your planet. On Planet Blamer, he lives in some places. Plant Blamer is smoke and gas, polluted. The future of Earth. In Lotus, he is indeed alive everywhere. Lotus is the start of the Earth. It is the exact copy of planet Earth fifty nine million years ago. Lotus is wilderness. A few towns here and there. God is all over Lotus. Every single blade of grass is part of one giant root in the center of the planet. Every single blade of grass is one. Like Siamese twins. Inside grasses roots, it connects to living humans. The grasses mineral cells are inside a human. Able to control the human any way. The roots of the grass and mineral cells connect to all the living in the world. It is the reason of life and death."

"Isn't that mouse the God and isn't he recording us, seeing everything we are doing right now?" the man asked the rose, suddenly worried.

"Due to plant's incredible power, we are a stem of God. Back at the castle, they're screens are currently jammed. The broadcast in the clouds are jammed. Plants can do these things. The mouse is not a God. He is the King of Krai.", the rose replied. " Please, pluck me from the ground and place me into your breast-pocket"

The man nodded and carefully flicked the plant off of the soil, the roots disconnecting. The colour in the rose changed to a very bright red.

"Ah.. Freedom. Do not worry, God's power is still in me." the rose said reassuringly.

The old man placed the rose into his breast pocket and then asked the rose,

"What is your name?"
"My name is Thorn", the rose replied. "What is yours?"
The man blinked and said, " My name is
